Wall and Piece.

Gross, head cold. brb, poping my ears for the 5billionth time.

It's interesting the things you collect. I keep finding little trinkets in my room and knowing I saved it at some point for a purpose and now I cannot remember why. I get scared about throwing things away. Who knows, maybe in two years I'll remember why I saved that piece of paper. But, I really am trying to make an honest effort to get rid of things. It's acceptable to hang onto college notebooks and textbooks, right? Especially if you're planning on going back to school?

So far, the bookshelf and desk are packed and ready for their new home. And I still have 23 days to vacate. 3 WEEKS? Scary! Thinking about moving makes my heart beat fast, like a new crush. I'm really nervous about it, really scared about it, but excited at the same time.

Speaking of leaving, my boyfriend's totally one-uping me and going to Argentina for a year. He leaves in August. When he got his official acceptance letter from the University he's going to, Palermo, I got a little weepy, but mostly I'm just super excited (and jealous) for him.

I took a mini-drive last night; up Paseo all the way to Taylor Ranch, down Montano to Coors, Coors to I-40 and back home. It was one of those drives where everything looked really clear. If that makes any sense.

Gonna watch TV and pray for decent re-runs.

In the seven years that I've been pierced I've been very lucky (and very careful) to hardly ever snag a piercing. Never experienced the dreaded piercing skin tear. But now, after Monday night, I know just how lucky I was because, SOB, does that ever hurt.

Once again, I'm a sick little bee. Maria believes it to be allergies. I think it's stress. I dislike my job JUST THAT MUCH that my body will get sick to prevent me from going to it.

I slept til 1:30 on my sick day yesterday, which actually made me a little mad. I missed out on hours of pointless daytime television, which is by far, the best part of a sick day. Watching paternity test results in the middle of phlegm-brain/pseudoephedrine stupor is just the oddest sensation in the world.

But, kudos to me for even being able to sleep yesterday morning after 4 Tylenol Severe Cold Daytimes. Ever since I spent that month off caffeine, my body's been super sensitive to it. Like, no Dr. Pepper after 7:00 kind of sensitive (ohai, imma toddler). Normally cold medicine wires me like non-other, but ever since the Great American Caffeine Swear-Off, Dayquil's made me downright loopy. But, nope, not yesterday. ZZZZ.

Today I ended up rocking an entire day at work, even though I only planned on a half. Actually, "rocking" is the complete opposite adjective from what I did at work today. But, tomorrow, oh, tomorrow is going to be downright brutal. Like, I may end up in fetal position underneath desk kind-of-brutal. Like, pretty lucky the windows on our 7th floor office don't open kind-of-brutal. Like, no, really, brutal. If you're oh so privledged to know where this mysterious job of wonder THAT I DON'T BLOG ABOUT is, then you might have a good idea as to why tomorrow is teh brutal. So, please, let the waves of good karma and nice thoughts wash over me. I'll need it. Freaking brutal.

By the way, P-Run, I totally saw that coming.

In a world that keeps on pushing me around.

The last time I blogged about a celebrity couple I really liked, they broke up days later. So, I'm hoping that blogging about my happiness over another Ryan, this one Gosling, and Rachel McAdams being back together doesn't create any trouble. Because, REALLY, cute as pie. They're pretty much the only thing everyone on ohnotheydidnt can agree on.

Sinus issues are actually full-blown head cold. My brain has been replaced by mashed potatoes. I made a pretty bad decision and went to watch Flood the Sun and Git Some at the Stove last night. The show itself was an amazing decision, but attending while being so sickly was not. (It doesn't matter how much I love and trust my boyfriend, I still hate me some scene whores. Your shoes have no purpose other than to man-hunt. And lemme tell ya, these are the kind of dudes that doesn't work on...) I hardly ever subject myself to cold medicine these days, because I'm really sensitive to it. Normally the only time I let myself Nyquil-out is if I take a sick day. But, being at work, nodding off, is bad news. Well, I let myself have some Nyquil last night and DEAR SWEET BABY JESUS was that a good decision. I slept really well. But, to counteract, I had to take the day cold medicine today, so that I would, in fact, stay awake at work. It's a miracle I cant type this, let alone answer the phone. On top of being mashed potatoes, my brain feels like a caffiene coma. If that makes any sense.

Boyfriend's school schedule has ruled out our lunch dates, something that makes me sort of sad. Like a lighthouse in a sea of desperation, lunch with Kyle was a fantastic break in the day.

I blog with far too many commas.
